Cycle rides around Rheeze
Besides for walkers, our B&B is also a good starting point for cycling enthusiasts. It is not without reason that the Hardenberg region has been the setting for the Leontien Ladiesride for years. The natural surroundings of the Vechtdal with beautiful river views and then the idyllic Reestdal with wine estate De Reestlandhoeve around the corner. The recommended tour of Hardenberg-Beerze is 34 km long. In addition to the recreational lake De Oldemeyer, Stuw Junne, it also visits the green villages of Beerze and Rheeze.  Rondje Rheeze is a few km longer and, just like tour Hardenberg-Beerze, is signposted with handy route signs. A 33 km round trip of Vechtdal Overijssel starts nearby, at the Rheezerwold Holiday Park. Following the meandering Vecht in the direction of Ommen is very easy with the cycle route Follow the Vecht from Route.nl. Don’t forget to cycle a “Tasting route “ and enjoy an artisanal ice cream en route or buy delicious fresh asparagus from the Asparagus Farm.

Via a bicycle ferry or across the German border
A versatile cycling route along forest, sand dunes, weirs, ferry and characteristic towns such as Brucht and Diffelen. Rondje Hardenberg, Diffelen and Rheeze of 32 km (about 2 hours). Do you want a slightly longer cycling route and just cross the border? The approximately 58 km long, varied cycling route Vechtdal-Germany, starts from former Hotel Restaurant Bokkepruik. For the real die-hards who also want a tasty stopover, Rondje Gramsbergen-Duitsland is a must. This almost 52 km long sign-posted cycle route passes De Haandrik, a buffalo farm and Mommeriete beer brewery and ends in Hardenberg to finish with a snack or drink on a nice terrace. This is a full-day program. A few golden tips for restaurants: Brasserie De Rheezerbelten and Amused Food & Wine.
